SZA S.O.S Deluxe Cover

This is my digital rendering of SZA’s SOS album cover. I created this in Adobe illustrator and enhanced it in Adobe Photoshop as well. I wanted to take the cover art for her album and kind of reimagine it in a different way that made it a lot more whimsical and creative. I will also use this rendering to create a concept for a deluxe edition of her current album to advertise to her fans that there is additional music that goes along with the original album.

Nicki Minaj Billboard Design

So, this is my illustrator portrait of Nicki Minaj that I made in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop. I wanted to create a tapestry style piece to represent her discography as one of the greatest female rappers in the music industry. I wanted to also utilize this piece as a billboard advertisement to advertise her up and coming album pink Friday 2, which is set to debut in November. The target audience for this project is geared towards anybody who is a Nicki Minaj fan.

Destiny's Child Reunion Poster

This is the poster for the Destiny’s Child reunion. I created a digital rendering of Beyoncé Knowles Carter, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams to represent the Destiny’s Child legacy. This project is meant to be a tapestry style piece to showcase the history of these three influential black women in music

The Ever Enchanted Story

This past year I have been working to develop a new type of story. These are the book jackets for my new series of stories call The Ever-Enchanted Story. The jackets are 22 1/2 by 10 inches when fully spread out while also including an 8th of an inch bleed, but when close it is for an 8 by 10-inch book with a one-inch spine. The front cover of each book jacket includes images of Ryanne, Shemar, and James who are the characters. The back includes the fairytale symbolism and a poem style incantation which reads, “The polarity of Moon, and the bright illumination of the Sun come together as a force of one; to give direction to those who are dim, and rewrite the tales told by the Brothers Grimm.”

Video Game Cover

Fusion Fall is a game developed by Cartoon Network, so this video game to show what the game would look like if it were franchised through Nintendo on their Wii U console. The video games cover spread is 10.75 inches in width and 7.5 inches in height with a half an inch spine. The artwork for the cover was drawn back in 2018 and then digitally rendered in September of 2020.

Black Excellence Poster

For this project I created a figurative event here in the city of Dayton, Ohio and made a poster design for it. I utilized images of some of my friends and family members to create the collage design on the left of the poster. The splatter design on the right of the poster was created in Adobe Illustrator using line work by changing the stroke pattern.

Illustories Identity Manual

In Fall of 2020, I had to create a brand book for a fictitious business. The purpose of this book was to act as a manual for employees to understand the rules, regulations, identity, and merchandising of our brand. The name of my business is called Illustories; it acts as a book creation in distribution company where anyone can create a multitude of story books and have them published through the organization. The book is an 8 by 10-inch trade book with a quarter inch spine consisting of 98 pages. The book had a soft cover, and the pages have a matted finish, plus they are in color

The Eras Collection Film & Book

This project is called The Eras Collection, now this is my personal autobiography that reflects on recent years of my life. From high school up to now, I have gone through a lot of different things that have led me to be who I am today and have shaped my mindset overtime. I wrote this book to be a positive inspiration for others going through similar situations that I have gone through or just to spread a message to others that they can aspire to be anything in this world. “You make your own destiny is what I would say the overall messages of this book. It doesn’t just stop at the book, there is also a visual documentary of this project as well which showcases the different themes involved in the book. The theme behind the overall project is based around different eras of a person’s life. This is also to showcase how there are many different facets to our one personality and that we are not just this one slight of a person we can be whatever we choose to be
